This Privacy Policy explains how KeepFirst: Photo Cleaner (“KeepFirst”), developed by Yifan Huang, handles information in the iPhone app and on this website.

Information handled by the app

KeepFirst requests access to your Apple Photos library so that you can review, organize, and choose photos or videos to keep. Photo and video processing happens on your device. The app stores local identifiers and review state needed to preserve your progress. It does not upload copies of your photos or videos to the developer.

The current app does not create user accounts, collect analytics, show advertising, or track you across other apps or websites. When you confirm deletion, the request is handled through Apple’s Photos framework and the standard iOS confirmation flow.

Information handled by this website

This website does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, contact forms, or user accounts. It is hosted by Vercel, which may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and request time to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Vercel’s privacy notice describes its own data practices and retention terms.

Support communications

If you contact support by email, you voluntarily provide your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. This information is used only to respond, troubleshoot, protect the service, or comply with legal obligations. Do not send photos or sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your support request.

Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and meet legitimate legal or security needs. You may ask for deletion of a support conversation unless retention is required by law.

Download links take you to Apple’s App Store, and social links may take you to external services. Those services process information under their own privacy policies. KeepFirst does not control their data practices.

Cookies and tracking

KeepFirst does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies on this website and does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If tracking or analytics is introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before activation.

Children’s privacy

KeepFirst is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the app has no account system and does not upload photo libraries, the developer does not knowingly collect children’s photos through the app.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask whether personal information is held about you, request a copy, request correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. Because KeepFirst does not maintain user accounts or a cloud photo library, most requests will relate only to support communications.

Security

KeepFirst minimizes risk by keeping photo review on the device and avoiding unnecessary collection. Email and internet transmission can never be guaranteed completely secure, so please limit support messages to information needed to resolve the issue.

This policy may be updated when the app, website, hosting, or data practices change. The latest version and effective date will remain available on this page. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate website, App Store, or in-app notice when required.
