Support

KeepFirst is designed to make iPhone photo cleanup calmer: choose what to keep first, review everything else, and confirm deletion only when you are ready.

Contact KeepFirst

Email support@keepfirst.app for product support, bug reports, purchase questions, privacy requests, or accessibility feedback.

Please include:

  • your iPhone model and iOS version;
  • the KeepFirst version shown in the App Store;
  • whether Photos access is full, limited, denied, or restricted;
  • what you expected and what happened;
  • a screenshot only when it helps and does not expose private media or personal information.

Do not send private photos unless they are necessary to explain the issue.

Photos access

KeepFirst needs Photos access to display and organize your library. Review or change access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → KeepFirst.

With a limited library, KeepFirst can work only with the items selected in iOS. You can add or remove permitted items from the same Settings screen.

Similar Photos

Similar-photo scanning runs locally using device-generated thumbnails. KeepFirst groups possible lookalikes for your review; it does not promise that every item is a duplicate and never deletes a group automatically. Choose the best item yourself and review the rest in the Review Bin.

Moments, media types, Similar Photos, and Keeps

You can clean by time, media type, or Similar Photos. Photos you choose to keep can also be organized into private, manually named Keeps on your device. One photo can belong to several Keeps, and you can revisit a Keep one photo at a time through its filmstrip and date timeline. KeepFirst does not add, move, or remove items in Apple Photos albums.

If a task appears incomplete, confirm the Photos permission, pull to refresh where available, and allow large libraries time to finish local indexing.

Review Bin, deletion, and recovery

Photos you do not keep move to KeepFirst’s in-app Review Bin first. They are not removed from Apple Photos until you review the bin; final deletion always uses the iOS system deletion prompt.

After deletion, iOS normally places items in Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted for a limited period. Apple Photos and iCloud settings remain the source of truth for recovery and synchronization. KeepFirst is not a backup service.

Purchases and restore

KeepFirst includes 100 newly processed items free on each device. Optional Weekly, Monthly, and Lifetime purchases unlock unlimited local cleanup and Similar Photos. Apple handles payment; Weekly and Monthly renew automatically until canceled, while Lifetime is a one-time purchase.

Use Restore Purchases in KeepFirst after reinstalling the app or changing devices with the same Apple Account. You can view or cancel an active subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Manual Keeps organization, Review Bin restore, and deletion safety actions remain available without a purchase.

For billing, refund, or payment-method issues, use Apple’s billing and subscriptions support.

Privacy

KeepFirst processes photos and videos locally on your iPhone. KeepFirst does not upload photos or videos. It does not require an account, use remote analytics, include a third-party advertising SDK, or track you across apps or websites.

Read the official KeepFirst Privacy Policy and Terms.
